That's why we're trying something different: Investing in a community by merging mutual aid, political action, and apolitical events in one package with a very serious name.

During our IL-9 congressional campaign, our number one persuader -- both for undecided voters and prospective volunteers -- was our work feeding and clothing our neighbors. We want to keep doing that, and also set this as the expectation rather than the exception, especially as Trump makes necessities and enrichment unaffordable to the average American.

Your contribution will help us prove this concept beyond just our singular campaign. It helps pay for stuff like rent, staff, and coordinating volunteers in purple races across the Midwest with Common Power, which has generously allowed us to hijack their website so we can make politics suck less together.
